What time is it? It's time to Eat, Drink, Block!

If you know me, you know that the places I like to recommend for food, are places where you get the most bang for your buck. In all aspects. What do I mean? The restaurant needs great service, great food, and an equivalent food portion in relation to the price.

If you're looking for a place, outside of downtown, where you have the same top service and quality of food, take a little trip to the NW into Mount Pleasant. Parking will be less stressful than trying to park downtown. And, in case you didn't know, they serve All Day Breakfast until 5pm, every day! - In my opinion, they have some of the Best Eggs Benedict in town, and you should give them a try.

Life is Sweet... Enjoy it! Have some Ice Cream!

Have you ever wondered, how do they make those delicious ice cream flavours at Marble Slab Creamery? I recently just found out, and I just couldn't believe it when they told me. But apparently, it really is that simple.

The Marble Slab experience starts with all products (including ice cream, yogurt, ice cream cakes and ice cream cupcakes) being made fresh in-store with Real Canadian Dairy.  They offer more than 50 flavours of ice cream and 30 mixins – fruits, nuts, candies, chocolates and cookies – that add that extra something special to your treat!  They even bake and hand-roll their waffle cones in-store too!
